As part of the beautification of Chinatown. Chinese Lanterns from China are being hung in the Wentworth Place Alley. The street that is in the front entry of Lions Den - a new venue in Chinatown. Yes there is still opportunity to do business and people see that.

Now there will be more lighting for Public Safety. Thank goes to the Mayors Office of Economic and Workforce Development, our coalition, the merchants, residents, and community leaders who inspired us to thrive. Also thanks to MOED for the partial grant to purchase these lanterns last year. We raised some matching funds to offset some costs and our volunteers helped as well. Most of our volunteers are elders who live, work, and lead in the community.
